Your Stories
One of the first things I did after being diagnosed was a frantic search on Google, reading endless articles, blogs, posts etc about cancer for up to date advice, guidance, hints, tips and I guess reassurance that if other people can do this, so can I!
It was my partner's idea to set up this website, in the hope that I can condense all the info I've read, share my experience and things that have helped me.
Everybody's cancer and treatment experience will be unique depending on the person, the type and stage of cancer, type of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery and/or whatever else is thrown into the mix. For that reason I would love to hear/read and share your stories (if you want to of course) because sharing your experiences whether you are the person with cancer or a relative/loved one/friend can be therapeutic and cathartic but also it may help others who may be able to relate if going through a similar thing, by giving practical advice (what worked for you, what didn't etc) and by sharing information hopefully reducing the unknowns as for me that is/was the scariest part of all this.
If you do want to share, please get in touch here.
